About Dr. Ira Schecter

Dr. Schecter has been sharing his expertise through presentations since 1996. His common sense approach to complex dental treatments is honest, informative and exciting. He shares both his triumphs and challenges holding nothing back from his audience. His powerful presentations are always well received.

Ira received his dental degree in 1979 from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec.

He completed a one year multi-discipline and surgical residency at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Quebec. He began his private practice in Toronto in 1980. His extensive surgical and prosthetic training in the Nobel Biocare Implant Systems has been successfully implemented in his practice since 1984.

Ira is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, the Ontario Study Club of Osseointegration, The American Academy of Osseointegration, the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, the founder of the Impant Mentor Study Club and dental implant consultant for the Baycrest Hosptial for Geriatric Care.
